Hillyer - Director, Jack Yandell - Director ANNUAL NOTICE (District Information) FLMD MEETINGS : are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Forest Lakes Community Center located at 998 Alpine Forest Dr. beginning at 1:30 PM, unless otherwise posted on the Metro bulletin board at the mail stop, 257 Alpine Forest Dr. The District also provides staff and an office to answer your Metro service questions. AGENDAFLMD ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES: are located at 271 N. Mountain View Dr., #107 in Bayfield, Colorado (next to A&W). Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00PM to 4:30 PM. Telephone 970-884-2925; FAX 970-884-0305.FLMD MINUTES: Metro District Board meeting minutes can be viewed at the District administrative offices during regular business hours or copies are available upon written request at $1.25 per page, prepaid. Board Meeting minutes are not available until approved by the Metro Board of Directors usually at the next regularly scheduled Board meeting.FLMD MAINTENANCE FACILITIES: Located at 6893 County Road 501. Open Monday through Friday from 7:30AM to 4:00PM. Telephone (970) 884-2111 (please call 884-2111 for after hour Metro emergencies only).COMMUNITY CENTER: Located at 998 Alpine Forest Dr. in Forest Lakes, call the District office for rental information..CENTRALIZED TRASH FACILITIES: are available to Forest Lakes residents at the maintenance facility yard Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Wednesday 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM subject to holiday closures. Dispose of non-household trash items at the Bayfield Convenience Center on County Road 223, take Hwy 160 West of Bayfield to CR 223 then about 2.5 miles from Hwy 160, click here for more information or the Bondad landfill West of Ignacio on County Road 318. Private trash services are allowed to collect trash in Forest Lakes however residents will continue to be billed by the District for the centralized facility. Please have your contractor provide their own disposal containers and do not let them use the centralized facilities.BRUSH PILE: The Brush pile is available to Forest Lakes property owners only. Access is usually available Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM year round and on Saturdays from 8:00AM to 3:00 PM until further notice, subject to holiday closures. During fire bans we ask that you separate your materials into different piles when unloading the larger items (greater than 6") from the smaller items (pine needles, limbs, etc.). Please no plastic bags, lumber with nails or stumps.
